Whispering Verse Studio · in development
A quiet room to write your book.
Plan, draft, revise and prepare your manuscript in one place. Made by the editors of an independent press, who read every submission from the first page.
What we are building
Four rooms for the four jobs of a book. This is what Studio is designed to do.
Write
The page, and nothing else.
Chapters down the side, the page in front of you, and formatting that stays out of the way. Bring in the draft you have already started and carry on where you stopped.
Plan
Boards for everything around the book.
Characters, places, research and outlines live next to the chapters they belong to, not in a dozen files and a pile of index cards.
Revise
Edit with someone else in the room.
Invite a co-author, an editor or a first reader. Suggestions and comments sit beside the text, and you accept or reject them one at a time.
Publish
From manuscript to a book you can hold.
Lay the finished text out as an ebook and a print-ready PDF. Or, when you would rather have a publisher, send it to our press straight from Studio.

What is Whispering Verse Studio?
A workroom for writing a book, in your browser: chapters, notes and research, revision with an editor or a first reader, and a finished file at the end. It is made by Whispering Verse, an independent press.
Can I use it today?
Not yet. Studio is in development. Join the early-access list and you will hear first when it opens, and be among the first to try it.
What will it cost?
We will publish pricing before Studio opens. Joining the list costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
Does the press still read manuscripts?
Yes. You can send us your work today, and every manuscript is read by a person, from the first page.
What happens to my email address?
We use it to send Studio news and The Quiet Letter, about once a month, and nothing else. You can unsubscribe at any time. Privacy notice.
